When You Need to Remember How the Lord Sees You

I was sitting in church recently and our wonderful pastor said some of these words and they resonated with me in a way that had me thinking on them for days and weeks. As my own worst critic, I often see all my mess-ups and shortcomings, and I can begin to believe that it's exactly how the Lord sees me too. But hearing our pastor state so plainly the way that God looks upon me, was such a beautiful and defining moment for me and my faith. So here, if you are struggling to believe that God's favor is on you, you have a prayerful reminder of what you mean to him.

Lord, Your love for me is radical

It is extravagant 

You see my faith

You hear my pleas

You look down at me and smile

Your fondness is evident in all the goodness that dots my life

You love me

You want to see me succeed

You are for me
